The final installation

Today the team assembled the incident room installation. We plastered the walls with the correspondence and details of all the major characters. There was evidence, carefully bagged, that related to the enquiry. There was also CCTV material played off DVD and the audio recordings from the individual Police questioning of all the main suspects. This included Susan – much to her horror. The conclusion of the ‘case’ is left up to the Viewers of the installation. There are suspects and clues. One of the ideas we played with initially was that there might not be a perfect outcome. Things might go wrong and justice might not be served. The stage that is presented at the installation is still a manhunt rather than a murder hunt. Jonathan has not been charged with any crime.
